By Farhan khan (president at United Research for Religious Affairs) Islam is a complete code of life as well as a religion of nature, which keeps an eye on all the conditions and changes that are related to the manifestation of the inner and outer existence of man and the universe. It is an undisputed fact that Islam provided the foundations of modern science by enlightening the humanity wandering in the vortex of Greek philosophy with the light of knowledge. The main theme of the Holy Quran is "man", who has been invited hundreds of times to be aware of the situations and events happening around him and the events of the world. He should work with and utilize the consciousness and powers of observation given by Allah Ta'ala so that the hidden secrets of the universe can be revealed to him.
The Relationship between Religion and Science
Today's era is the era of advancement of scientific sciences. Science is rightly defined as contemporary knowledge. Therefore, in the present era, the work of correct and effective propagation of religion can be done better only on modern scientific bases. Therefore, in this era, the need for this matter is much greater than in the previous centuries, that the promotion of modern scientific sciences should be promoted in Muslim societies and the righteousness of Islam should be promoted by integrating religious education with scientific education. Therefore, it is very important for today's Muslim student to understand the relationship between religion and science in the light of Quran and Sunnah.
How is the contradiction between science and Islam possible while Islam itself is encouraging science! Therefore, Islamic sciences are total and scientific sciences are only a part of it. A conflict between the component and the total is impossible. It is a universal challenge for researchers around the world who are researching religion and science at their own level that there is no contradiction between religion and science. If someone thinks that there is a conflict between religion and science, then one of two things must be wrong with him, one is that he lacks a proper understanding of religion, or else he has not properly understood science. Will be. It is also possible that the point on which he sees a contradiction may not have been properly clarified to him due to lack of study. If a matter is properly examined and understood from all aspects, then one is forced to admit that there is no contradiction between religion and science, because according to Islam, both religion and science are part of religion. .
